What the experiment tested
Marineterrein describes three Shuttercams installed at three locations. Their shutters showed when cameras were active, turning an ordinarily hidden sensing state into a visible physical condition.
Verified so far
- The cameras operated only at peak times.
- Visitors could disable one camera for fifteen minutes.
- Another camera depended on weekly winding.
- The algorithm counted visitors only; images were processed locally through an encrypted connection and then deleted.
Limits and status
Marineterrein marks the experiment as completed. This brief does not imply that the cameras remain installed or operating, and it does not claim broader surveillance or identification capabilities.
